Dieser Wettbewerb hat zum Ziel, neue, noch unveröffentlichte Werke von Komponistinnen sichtbar zu machen und Kompositionen aller Stilrichtungen im Bereich der Blasmusik aktiv zu fördern.
Pro Teilnehmerin können bis zu zwei Kompositionen eingereicht werden.
Die besten Werke werden mit attraktiven Geldpreisen ausgezeichnet (1. Preis: 2.000 €, 2. Preis: 1.500 €, 3. Preis: 1.000 €) und werden als Schwerpunktstück für die Konzertwertungssaison 2027 nominiert (bis zu ca. 500 Aufführungen!)
Der Einsendeschluss ist der 1. September 2026, die Bekanntgabe der Preisträgerinnen erfolgt im November 2026.

The aim of this competition is to present new, previously unpublished works by female composers and to promote compositions for wind bands of all styles.
Each participant may submit up to two compositions.
The best works will be awarded attractive cash prizes (1st prize: € 2,000, 2nd prize: € 1,500, 3rd prize: € 1,000) and will be performed as key pieces during the 2027 concert assessment season in Upper Austria, accompanied by expert feedback. (up to approx. 500 performances!).
The deadline for submissions is 1st September 2026, and the winners will be announced in November 2026.
